It is referred to as a “walk-out” basement as it is ground level with full height access. The first 8′ X “Length of front of house” is about 7′ clear. From there, the hillside slopes up to the back of the house. There is an almost full length built-in workbench setup along the front wall (20-22 feet of work surface), shelving, and shop lights. There is no floor though (natural dirt surface). This is the perfect area for storing all of the normal outdoor items you’d usually find in a garage. There’s space for surfboards, kayaks, lawn mowers, bicycles, ladders and more. There’s probably more storage possibilities here then in a ‘normal garage”. The water heater is located in here and there’s great access to all of the house plumbing and venting systems.
Don’t be mistaken though, if you’re looking for a bonus room, this is not it. You’d have to remodel the space with flooring and walls.
Here is an amazing photo of the water heater! =o)

This site is done really well! We are looking to help our kids, and two grand children get into a house, if you decide you are willing to carry, let us know. I am sure you understand that you will benefit as well because in the end you will end up with more money in your pocket, and you won’t have any tax issues, for now anyways. I understand that sometimes we just need the money to go to the next step. If you know of any other houses that need some fixing up and the owners are either willing to carry or its a deal that you find that you can’t afford but is too good to pass up, call us and if we buy it we will give you a finders fee. Thanks, Charisse
